Personal achievements in the de Chazal family

The following achievements of members of the de Chazal family have been notified to the the gatekeeper .

Matthew Spall (matthewspall@hotmail.com) awarded BA (Hons) from Manchester University on 26 June 2000, in History and French with emphasis on French literature. [notified by Spall family, 27 June 2000]

Isabelle de Chazal (isabelle.de-chazal@wanadoo.fr), fille de Claudine et Tristan, a obtenu au mois de juillet 2000, son diplôme de CAPES (capacité d'enseignement supérieur) d'Espagnol. Il s'agit d'un concours national et elle en est sortie 158e sur un peu plus de 460 reçus à l'examen. [notified by Tristan de Chazal, 10 August 2000] 

Federico Guillermo Hlawaczek obtained his degree of Engineer in Computation, at the University of Tucumán, Argentina, with an average of 8 points, on 23 February 2001. Twenty four years old, he is the son of Silvia Usandivaras de Hlawaczek, and grandson of Teresita de Chazal de Usandivaras (the eldest daughter of Antonio Roberto de Chazal). He lives in Tucumán, Argentina, and he wants to work elsewhere. He plans to travel for a short time, till he gets a job. [notified by Silvia Usandivaras de Hlawaczek, 25 March 2001]

On 30th May 2001 Pauline Mayer (nee de Chazal) reached her 86th year, something she promises she will never do again! [notified by Francoise Holmes, 31 May 2001]

Christopher (Cyril) de Chazal is now initiating the de Chazal Book of Records with news of just how high de Chazals can get their noses in the air -

Christopher Cyril de Chazal is pleased to announce that he conquered Mount Meru (4562.13 meters) on 23rd September 2001. In addition on 29th September he successfully climbed to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro (Uhuru Peak 5895m), the highest peak in Africa. Christopher is the only de Chazal to have accomplished this magnificent double (until proven otherwise). See photos below -
